Construction Management
USA Niagara Development Corporation (USA Niagara), has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking the services of a construction manager for the renovation of an existing vacant building previously known as the Falls Street Faire, located at 101 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY. The building will be converted for use as a convention center containing exhibit areas, ballroom space, a kitchen and support area and meeting spaces, totaling approximately 113,000 square feet. The assignment will include pre-construction planning and estimating, design review, value engineering, construction scheduling and supervision, bid solicitation and evaluation and coordination with the project design team. The selected CM is excluded from general contracting work of any kind. Responses are due September 13, 2002.
